The Sonoma Diet is a three–step program inspired by the food and culture of the California Sonoma Valley and the Mediterranean. Its goal is to help you loose weight and enjoy the “right” kind of food.
The Sonoma Diet was originally introduced as a book and is now available online. The online program offers 14 tools to help you with your weight loss goals including a customized meal plan, more than 500 recipes and printable shopping lists. There is a short tutorial vaguely explaining its three steps promising to make you loss weight, feel better and eat great.
The Sonoma Diet emphasizes portion control by changing your plate size. According to its founder you can still fill your plate, just make it a smaller plate. This is also one of the few diets that allows alcohol. The “wine guide” is a unique feature to Sonoma.
The Sonoma Diet is approx. $5 a week billed every 13 weeks. There is a five–week minimum. After five weeks you can cancel at any time.
The Sonoma Diet does offer a telephone and email contact. However, there is no FAQ section to answer your questions prior to contacting the company. For a similar diet plan with more online options, see the Mediterranean Diet offered by the #1 service, eDiets.
